How to intimidate a Nug (nursing Nug)

Be a 6'4" male doctor with a sense of humor.

Tuesday clinical story:

This oncology doctor entered the room while I was attempting to translate Spanish to English for the nurse and the patient... This was done horribly #5years of French. And only 4 semesters of Spanish...

He listens to me mispronounce every word. Once i'm done the nurse sends me to every room to check in with the patients and sign her name on few things.

As a new student nurse, I am oober cautious. So I was worrried about forging signatures. The Doctor then jokingly said I would loose all recognition as a nurse, even just a student, if I do as she requested. Once someone has more power than I and measures in more than 6 inches taller than I, I tend to be intimidated. He was completely joking. He laughed. The nurse laughed. I nervously giggled.

He then shared this wise words "half of healthcare is forging signatures and taking credit for other peoples work. Did you know that health care professionals are the most trusted professionals? People trust us."

Remove the first sentence, and I believe him.

Wednesday clinical story:
(Even though it's only 6:50 am)
Best part of working at a mental health hospital is the fact that you are locked out until you are let in to the facility. This is excruciating, especially if it is 9 degrees...
