Bucket List Check Offs

1.) go to the Dubliner. Everyone goes and I have never been. I did not have a beer but at least I had a scrumptious lunch.

2.) take great publish ready pictures of my hair in the wind. Because I am pocohantas. Nicole is my John Smith.

3.) go to Disney on ice. According to my mother I have been 10 times and always went to our favorite pizza place in Boston after the performance. Hey at least I can confidently say first time in DC  and got my favorite cup cakes after.

4.) sit on the metro and then the next stop have a man sit on top of me. Just because he thinks it's funny. (This is normal) (and I know this man) (however we were not traveling together)

5.) glow in the dark bowling with some residents. Got a strike!!!

6.) do the "John Wall" in the same room as John Wall. Oh and watch him get some type of award. Clearly I am very passionate about basketball.

7.) donate my hair

Prone to Danger

Being a little small vulnerable person who puts themselves in the most random situations, it obvious that I would probably hurt myself every now and then.

Yesterday, my housemate, Peter, went for a run and didn't bring his keys. So when he got back, he needed mine to get into his hall way. I threw them up to him. He unlocks the door and then he leans over the banister with the keys to drop them down to me.

Thought it was super artsy picture but it's not. Just thought I would try to be kind of hipster...

2 seconds later I catch them. Kinda hurt. But didn't say anything.
Walk 30 seconds away to the bank and go to take out my card and I have blood all over my hand.

Of course one of my 8 keys had to puncture my skin and leave me with a battle wound.

Clearly not gonna even try to put a bandaid on it. (Read previous post).

Secrets of a Student Nurse

The most difficult task is to put on a band aid.

Do you ever stuggle to put them on yourself? One of the sticky sides usually gets stuck on something. It's never the right amount of pressure. Either too tight or too loose.

Well it's hard for healthcare professionals too. First off we wear gloves which the sticky stuff on band aids just love to stick too. And we can't feel how right to put the band aid.

Here is the final product. Don't worry this was just on another student nurse not a patient. Band aide is half way off the finger.

Anyways I promise I am good at other things. Would you trust me as your future nurse...?

If I Were Batman

I'd be this batman. Empowering nuggets everywhere.

2 libraries, 1 week, ask me how my grades are.

So I actually like to study. Correction. I like to break things down and learn about them. This is the point in the semester that I have a lot of test coming up, and they happen to be in my boring classes. If I wasn't going to be entertained by the material, I thought I might as well be entertained by the environment that will promote me to feel super smahhrt.

Last Saturday: went to Library of Congress.
First mistake of the day... Wearing cute shoes after it had snowed and it was kinda drizzly outside.
Second mistake was wearing my yellow rain jacket that I love! It started as a drizzle which became more snow...
Third mistake was acting like a tourist and getting yelled at after being inside for 1 minute. Apparently you are not allowed to take pictures because Nicholas Cage likes to protect his identity since he found the National Treasure and all.

Since I am too scared to post any pictures from inside, cause I am afraid of being taken away by the FBI, this is all I got... The building across the street. Which is pretty cool too.

Oh hey, it's the Capitol Building. Can you believe it is spelled with the letter O and not the letter A?

This weekend I am at the library on campus. I have gotten a lot done so far. Here is proof of my progress.

Can you see my little friend? Best buds since freshmen year.

So my grades... Working on them. I promise I am trying hard mom!
